This program is designed as a health care discount program which is different from health insurance.  Payment is made by you to the medical care provider at the time of service.  You immediately receive a discount from the provider.  There are no age limitations and there are no health restrictions. 

Absolutely!  This is not insurance.  It is a discount program offering you immediate savings at the time of service at your provider’s office.

After locating a participating provider in our Nationwide Network, set a convenient appointment and present your MedChoice-Plus card when you arrive.  You will be charged the discounted amount when you pay at the time of service.  Please see our "Savings" page for more details on how much money you can save.

No.  No matter what your age you can use your MedChoice-Plus card to receive discounts on health care. 

No.  This is not insurance.  There are no deductibles on this program.  You only pay the discounted amount to your provider at the time of service.

Yes.  Once you have registered in the MedChoice-Plus program you will receive a New Member Kit in the mail with your actual card and complete instructions about how to use it.

Once you have chosen a participating provider from our National Network, make an appointment with the provider and inform them that you are a member of the Galaxy Health Network (or the network name of the benefit being used).  Each participating provider from our National Network has agreed to accept the MedChoice-Plus card and to extend discounts to each member who pays for services when rendered.

Every insurance plan is different so you should always check with your carrier first.  Because the MedChoice-Plus card is a discount program and not insurance, the MedChoice-Plus card can be used in conjunction with your current insurance.  For instance, you can use the MedChoice-Plus card for services not included by your insurance.  In some areas of health care, using the MedChoice-Plus card can actually save you more than using your insurance plan.

Yes.  MedChoice-Plus includes two cards.  If you need more cards, contact Member Services to order additional cards for a nominal fee.

No.  You can use the MedChoice-Plus card as many times as you want.  There are no usage limitations of any kind.

You can start taking advantage of the discounts offered by this program upon receipt of your New Member Kit which will arrive within 1 to 2 weeks from the day you sign-up.  The New Member Kit includes two sets of MedChoice-Plus cards that include your Member ID.  Your Member ID is your "passport" to all the savings included in your selected plan.
